A community of communities in Southwest Calgary, and the riding Dan is seeking the UCP nomination to represent in the Alberta Legislature. Calgary-Shaw is Provincial Electoral Division 23, covering the southwestern edge of the city: communities along Macleod Trail and Spruce Meadows Trail, between roughly 130 Avenue in the north and 242 Avenue at the city limit in the south.
Calgary-Shaw is a provincial constituency in the southwest quadrant of Calgary (Provincial Electoral Division 23, per Elections Alberta). It is bordered by Calgary-Peigan to the north, Calgary-Lougheed and Calgary-Fish Creek to the east, and the city limits to the south and west. To vote in the UCP nomination, you must be a UCP member and reside within the riding boundaries.
Communities include: Shawnessy, Somerset, Silverado, Yorkville, Belmont, Pine Creek, Chaparral, Walden, Wolf Willow, and Legacy. The detailed boundary is published by Elections Alberta. If you are not sure whether your home is inside the boundary, the campaign team can help confirm.
